A Quiet Storm was an extremely engaging story from start to finish. Bernice McWilliams has crafted a masterpiece of suspense, edge of your seat drama, romance and incredible sensuality. This is a well written story, set against a back drop of incredibly meticulous history and sound research that truly serves to add a much richer context to the story and allows the reader to learn interesting facts and history while being entertained.

The characters are so very well fleshed out and Ms. McWilliams truly captures your attention as each character sweeps you along in his/her adventures. This is a definite page turner that I could not put down and this talented writer has certainly left room for possibly many sequels to come without leaving the original story feeling unfinished. 

This book is definitely for one who loves intrigue, suspense, mystery, romance and a writer who has a clear, colorful, and masterful use of language.

This is one of the best books I have ever read. It was a page-turner from beginning to end. Bernice is an amazing, outstanding author. The detail given to this story made me feel as if I was right there. The way Bernice describes her characters and weaves her plot together is superior talent. Everything you want in a novel is in this book: romance, suspense, and everything else. I couldn't put it down and look forward to reading more and more books by this extremely gifted writer.
