Readers' Reviews:

I loved this book. I found it hard to put down. The book made me laugh and cry. Crying over a book is something that I just do not do. I loved how everyone is tied together in the book. I mean dang the book was good. Oh goodness there are so many books that can be written from this book. I feel that the best is yet to come.

This is one of the most prolific reads I had the pleasure of experiencing this year. Bernice McWilliams is a master story teller who holds her reader captive. If you are looking for a page turning novel that packs intrigue, suspense, murder, romance, adventure as well as historical facts, this is definitely the book for you. I loved how the words flowed on the page and her use of language. She has a subtle way of educating the reader through endless research used in creating her storylines. The characters are relatable and I found myself cheering them on. I believe Ms. McWilliams can deliver several sequels from this novel in the near future. This novel has the quality of any book that I've read from Oprah's Book Club and The New York Times Best Seller List. Kudos to Kindle for sharing her story!

"A CAPTIVATING read...I was CAUGHT up in romance, suspense, adventure, murder and the MANY detailed historical facts...Bernice McWilliams weaves quite an INTRIGUING, creative and in-depth story...the full cast, main and secondary are well-developed and COLORFUL...although it's a LENGTHY read...it keeps me turning the pages to discover what will happen to this ENGAGING cast of characters...with the unresolved issues some of the cast are facing...I TRULY hope to see some follow-up stories in the NEAR future. KUDOs Ms. McWilliams!"

Bernice McWilliams, what can I say about this first time author, a lot, she is worth reading, I think for her first book she has hit all the right notes and is on point. She has what I call a writer’s spirit, it's in her soul. A Quiet Storm is a page turner, you will find yourself in love and rooting for these people as if you knew them. As for content and story line five stars. It is a must read page turner. Looking forward to her next book.
